For IMA AUTOMATION ATOP, we are looking for an CONTROL ENGINEER.
IMA AUTOMATION ATOP works in the development and design of innovative technologies aimed at the production of electric stators and rotors.

Place of Employment: Barberino Tavarnelle (FI).

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Control Engineer, placed in the technical department, will cross-follow machine development. More specifically, he/she will be in charge of:
•    Programmazione PLC delle macchine automatiche
•    PLC programming of automatic machines;
•    Installation and commissioning of software in the machine;
•    Produce documentation to accompany design activities;
•    Collaborate with the HW designer in drafting functional specifications according to project requirements;
•    Definition and technical coordination of projects related to vision systems and robots installed on automatic lines;
•    Supervision of projects, from design to FAT passing, in accordance with the URS specified by the customer;
•    Collaborate with other design groups in the evaluation of new technical solutions;
•    Work in synergy with production departments to ensure achievement of objectives;
•    Supervise and coordinate external suppliers of vision systems and robots during the design and supply procurement phases;
•    Make trips to customers for installation of a new line or configuration of new formats or optimization of existing formats;
•    Take part in working groups to conduct risk analysis (product, process and from an operator safety perspective).

 

MUST HAVE

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics/Automation;
•    Experience in the same role preferred;
•    Ability to read technical drawing;
•    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

•    Good Knowledge of English Language;
•    Ability to organize and plan own work consistent with common goals;
•    Good interpersonal and communication skills.
