MACHINE TOOL OPERATOR

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Machine Tool Operator, placed in the Division's Workshop Adjustment Unit, will be responsible for:

 

  • Production of mechanical components destined for internal assembly departments and external customers. 

  • Production of mechanical parts to drawings, meeting technical specifications and delivery times.

  • Machine tooling independently for simple parts or following the tool sheets given by the shop floor technician in the case of complex parts.

  • Testing of mechanical parts using testing tools.

  • Adjustment activities by manually acting on the part to complete it, eliminating burrs.

  • Detection of non-conformities by comparing with own team leader to decide the procedure to follow, in collaboration with the division/external customer's technical department.

 

MUST HAVE

 

  • Proven experience in using traditional Lathe and Mill and other sheet metal machines and in traditional machining operations;

  • Knowledge of wire, tig and autogenous welding;

  • Experience in adjusting and testing mechanical parts (use of roughness tester, altimeter, gauge).

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

  • Coming from workshops related to automatic machine companies;

  • Order and accuracy in bench work;

  • Ability to work in teams with diverse technical expertise.
