For IMA LIFE we are looking for a TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT.
IMA LIFE is the division operating in the production of machines and complete lines for the processing of liquids and powders in aseptic and non-aseptic environments.


Place of work: Castel San Pietro Terme (BO)




  • Arrange to visit with the agent or branch salesperson at the Customer/IMA in order to acknowledge his/her real needs;

  • Work as a team with the Product Manager in order to propose the most suitable solution for the Customer: the Technical Sales Support studies the user requirement and - together with the Area Manager - defines a technical customization of the machine/line of interest of the Customer, which will then be articulated in a commercial offer package to be submitted to the Customer;

  • Support Sales during the commercial negotiation phase for the definition and configuration of the technical offer, analyzing the Customer's document and specifications (URS);

  • Develop the technical specification (MIP) of the machine/line;

  • Collaborate, as sponsor, with the project team in managing the order in all its phases.




  • Have a thorough knowledge of the product in order to construct and present the best proposal for the customer;

  • Know the placement of the product within the market and have an in-depth knowledge of the competition;

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, automatic machines sector pharma field;

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;

  • Excellent knowledge of English language, both spoken and written;

  • Willingness to travel.
