SALES AREA MANAGER

For IMA LIFE JAPAN KK, we are searching for a SALES AREA MANAGER.
This person will be based at its headquarters in Tokyo and take care of Sales promotion for IMA Life products, Aseptic machinery for the Pharma industry.

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • To keep contact directly with the customer, the multinational company or indirectly through authorized distributors/agents..

  • To develop the Japan area from a commercial point of view, both through courtesy visits to existing clients and through new potential clients with whom the distributor/agent has often contacts.

  • To organize a visit with the distributor/agent or branch salesman to the customer to understand his real needs.

  • To share the information with the IMA Life Sales Directors in agreement with the branch salesman or distributor/agent.

  • To work in a team with the IMA Life Sales Directors to propose the best solution to the client: the Product Manager studies the user requirement and, together with the Area Manager, defines a technical customization of the machine/line of interest that will be later transformed into a commercial offer to be submitted to the client.

  • To maintain a commercial management of the client.

  • To draft the commercial offer after a discussion with the IMA Life Sales Directors.

  • To monitor the project's progress by the Project Manager and the Product Manager.

  • To carry out all commercial communications on a running project, such as delays, reminders, and technical variables.

  • To maintain the relationship with the Client not just on the technical-commercial side but also on the personal one, which is developed through courtesy visits not aimed at the sale.

  • To coordinate and manage the activities of all sellers of subsidiaries, distributors, and agents located in the relevant territory.

  • To participate physically and virtually in trade fairs and industry-specific events.

NICE TO HAVE

 

  • (Even basic) knowledge of the Italian language

  • Degree in Engineering or technical education
