JOB SUMMARY
- Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
- Assemble, test, dehydrate, charge, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems with minimal supervision.
- Perform high-quality silver soldering on copper refrigeration systems up to three inches in diameter. This includes bending and flaring copper tubing according to reliable standards.
- Use piping and instrumentation diagrams to assemble and troubleshoot low-temperature refrigeration systems.
- Analyze material availability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide input on refrigeration procedures and work instructions.
- Deliver training and administer refrigeration soldering tests as needed.
- Control the in-house refrigerant supply and maintain the associated documentation.
- Assist with administrative tasks and support off-site installations and preventive maintenance activities.
This role involves working at heights and in confined spaces, as well as tasks requiring bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- High School Diploma (trade school concentration preferred).
- Familiarity with low-temperature refrigeration systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and self-motivation.
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with refrigeration systems.
- Ability to work independently in a job shop environment.

SALARY RANGE
- $24 - $30 hourly.
- Overtime eligible.
- Bonus.
