We're looking for an After Market Manager for IMA-Ilapak's North American office.
For nearly 50 years, IMA-Ilapak has offered a wide range of flexible packaging solutions to meet every form, fill and seal requirement for the food, pharmaceutical, medical device and wet wipes industries.
The North American branch provides aftermarket support for all customers in the region, as well as sales development for new customers and support for existing customers.

JOB SUMMARY

The Aftermarket Manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Oversee all aftersales activities of the subsidiary.

  • Coordinate the two aftersales officies by liaising with the service manager and the spare parts manager.

  • Indirectly manage all staff within the subsidiary (20 people).

  • He/She will be responsible for the aftersales service for the entire territory of the subsidiary.

  • He/she will deal directly with A-type customers by performing key account functions.

  • He/she will report to the Branch Manager on a functional level and to the Group Aftermarket Director on a hierarchical level.

  • Direct management of strategic customers (visits, negotiation and processing of sales orders). 

  • Coordination with the sales department for the installation of new machines and after-sales work, and in general for the management of the technicians' work.

  • Visits to customers approximately 20% of the year.

MUST HAVE

 

  • Customer orientation 

  • Ability to listen

  • Share information and customer needs within the branch

  • Previous experience of at least 5 years in a coordinating role

  • Coming from industrial automation, petrochemical, energy processing contexts 

  • Qualification (degree or diploma in a technical/engineering field) and/or proven experience in technical roles.
