We are looking for a IT Specialist to join our Tonawanda, NY team. 

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in microcomputer systems and local area network administration
  • Knowledge of modern IT systems, principles, and practices
  • Familiarity with hardware capabilities and limitations
  • Proficiency in office technologies and software packages (Windows, SAP, ERP, word processing, spreadsheets, email, data processing, financial systems, etc.)
  • Understanding of telecommunication and building access systems
  • Knowledge of training techniques and IT safety standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation
  • Skill in prioritizing tasks and evaluating technical needs
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships across teams
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Awareness of electrical safety and hazard protocols

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

 

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity certification processes and standards
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating with external vendors
  • Confidence in training both technical and non-technical users
  • Interest in emerging IT technologies and their business applications

 

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT

 

  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and documentation processes.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing training or demonstrations.
  • Experience with refrigeration systems.
  • Experience with validation and testing procedures for complex industrial equipment.

SALARY RANGE

 

  • $ 55,000 - $ 65,000
